An annual re-inspection must be conducted for properties that have been inspected for asbestos in accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAP) 2012.
There is no legal requirement to conduct an asbestos re-inspection. However, Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states that all non-domestic premises must take appropriate measures to “manager asbestos”.
The Approved Code of Practice for The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 states:
“As a minimum, the management plan, including records and drawings, should be reviewed every 12 months.”
